Several goats on the doe, doeling, juniors & bucks page may be available. Look for the 'Available' notation at the top of their page. Not all are listed under the available tab. Inquiries welcomed.

If you see a goat you are interested in, please reach out. We are motivated to move some of our sale goats.

Use of photos we have posted is allowed with proper photo credit. If there is no photo credit given, then it is a photo we have taken & credit goes to Heritage Farm Montana. Photo credit captions are accurately portrayed in the desktop version.

Goat Reservations & Sales Policies

  • We reserve the right to retain any goat from any breeding at any time, even over reservations.

  • Reservations are first come, first serve.

  • Paid reservations have priority over free reservations, unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • No goat is considered pending until there is a deposit paid or agreement finalized between both buyer & seller.

  • No goat is considered sold until agreement is finalized (all monies paid or agreement fulfilled).

  • We are not responsible for any animal once it leaves our property.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any sale at our discretion & refund all monies to paying party if the animal has not left our posession.

  • Transportation costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. We are happy to recommend & help where we can. Occasionally we will transport animals purchased from us quicker & for less than a shipper might. Please contact us with where you are wanting a goat shipped & when & we may be able to accommodate.

  • All transportation fees must be paid prior to our departure.

  • No animal will leave unless paid in full.

  • Any testing, CVI (Certificate of Veterinary Inspection) or other responsibilities for an animals shipping are the fiscal responsibility of the buyer. If a farm call is not paid for by the buyer, a transport fee to the veterinarian's office may apply payable to Heritage Farm Montana. at a minimum of $25 ~

  • $25 Burnt Fork Veterinary Hospital, $50 for Blue Mountain Veterinary Hospital

  • If a buyer does not obtain a CVI or required testing to enter the state they are shipping a goat(s) to, any liability including, tickets, fines, etc. are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

  • We do not require any testing or CVI prior to a goat leaving the farm. That is the choice/responsibility of the buyer.

  • All sold goats must be picked up within 2 weeks of the sale date. Unless otherwise agreed, board will start accruing at the rate of $5 per a day, regardless of the age.

  • Goats w/a deposit must have an agreement between buyer & Heritage Farm Montana for a final payment date. If that date is not met for final payment & other arrangements are not made, nor contact made w/Heritage Farm Montana, We will attempt to reach out. If we cannot reach you, your deposit will be forfeited & the goat relisted.

  • Bottle babies must be picked up after 3 days of age, but by 2wks of age. We will not feed bottle babies through weaning without a written agreement between both parties.

  • All fees must be paid prior to any goat(s) leaving the farm, including paying the veterinarian for any fees for CVI's, testing, etc.

  • By purchasing a goat(s) from us, the buyer agrees to these terms.

Returns & Refunds policy

You are entitled to cancel your purchase prior to signing a contract, but please note, deposits are non refundable.

Once a goat or product has left the property, the sale is considered complete & we can no longer be held liable for the health & well being of said goat or product.

In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement in writing as well as to confirm we have received your cancellation either by text, calling or email. We encourage confirming cancellations as technology is not infallible.

Any goat that shows symptoms of CH (Carpel Hyperextension) may be returned at buyers expense for an exchange of an equal value, agreed upon available goat for exchange. Goat to be returned must be examined by a licensed veterinarian and must clearly outline CH & not injury related CH (ie: another goat rammed that one or obvious trauma to the leg(s).

Conditions for return of goods (not goats):

No items will be approved for return because one simply changed their mind, unless deemed defective by Heritage Farm Montana.

In order for goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The goods were purchased in the last 30 days

  • The goods are in the original packaging

The following goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.

  • The supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, for example goods which deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.

  • The supply of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.

  • The supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion. Refunds will only be given for the purchase price less any sales, discounts or coupons used. and will not include shipping reimbursement of any kind.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. You should send the goods to the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.

Gifts:

If the goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the goods weren't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give it to you later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.
